MAiD Presentation to Democratic Woman’s Club of Lake County
We were invited to present “What is Medical Aid in Dying…What it isn’t” to the Democratic Woman’s Club of Lake County in Mt. Dora on August 22nd. The presentation was well received with a robust question and answer period. We reviewed the Florida End-of-Life Options Act which will be filed in the House of Representatives in the coming weeks, by Representative Campbell. Rep. Campbell is passionate about allowing medical aid-in-dying to be an additional end of life option for residents who are terminally ill and mentally capable of making their own health care decisions.
